Director of eBusiness

Job Summary:
The primary goal of the Director of e-Business will be to lead online marketing programs to drive site traffic and transactions, including SEO/SEM, affiliate marketing, email and social media.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of e-commerce sites - Establish strategy and marketing plans to drive traffic and sales - Develop amd manage online markting and promotinal calendars, including campaigns and promotional offers - Create informatin architecture, templates and other specifications and work with IT and Suppliers on developing website features with the goal to improve user experience - Determine products for e-commerce store (product images, descriptions, cross promote, online merchandising) - Monitor daily sales; maintain updated e-commerce sales reports; monitor online traffic trends and sources - Track ROI and manage site P&L
Web Marketing:
- - Develop and implement online content updates to engage with customers and drive traffic and sales
- - Develop and implement online markeing plan to support seasonal product and merchandise promotions
- - Manage online communication channels including websites, micro sites, email and social media channels from strategy through
- creative development, contest distributin and traffic tracking and analysis
- - Implement online marketing opportunities that support specific promotions with third parties, such as Amazon and others
- - Interface with IT and internal and external web developers for web development and trouble shooting
- - Manage SEO/SEM agency and oversee search engine marketing strategy from keyword selections, key page optimizatins and
- external linking strategy
- - Build and manage online marketing budget
Requirements:
- - A minimum of 5 years e-commerce experience with industrial products
- - Bachelor's degree in Marketing or similar concentration
- - Significant experience in e-commerce marketing and operations
- - Significant experience in web marketing, including SEM, email programs, display ads, affiliate marketing and social media
- - Experience building email database for acquisition and retention marketing purposes
- - Web programming knowledge helpful, though not required
- - Strong financial and business acumen, including analytical ability
- - An exceptional attitude and flexibility as well as the ability to wear many hats
- - Ability to be strategic as well as hands on
- - Creative thinker and problem-solver
- - Strong communication skills
- - Good creative judgement
- - Self-motivated and a true entrepreneurial approach
