James C. Melton - Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Melton was appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer in March 2009. 

With over 25 years of varied financial experience, Mr. Melton has worked in public accounting and held senior financial positions for publicly-held and privately-owned companies in the apparel and food industries. 

Prior to joining Industrial Distribution Group, Mr. Melton served as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Baker & Taylor, a large wholesale book distributor. 

Mr. Melton is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
